Jaylene Chevalier, is a proud Marramaninjsji and Arrernte woman and a transformative leader serving as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) at the Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association (AIDA). With over 20 years of experience in Indigenous affairs, she is dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and empowering environments, with a strong focus on advancing Indigenous leadership and the well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.

Jaylene is known for her ability to transform organisational cultures, empower teams, and foster innovation. She leads high-performing teams, implements strategic frameworks, and collaborates with executives to drive growth and operational excellence. Her expertise spans project management, contract management, leadership development, and financial acumen, with a reputation for streamlining processes to achieve strategic goals.

This initiative equips participants with tools to reflect on their experiences, identify core values, and apply principles of lateral empowerment to elevate themselves and others.
