ANZEF Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship to Attend RANZCO Congress

Opportunity Details

These scholarships aim to increase access to ophthalmic education and networks of aspiring ophthalmologists through participating in the RANZCO 57th Annual Scientific Congress, taking place in Auckland from 6-9 November 2026. 

Eligibility

These opportunities are open to AIDA member Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students and junior doctors interested in ophthalmology as a career.  

Scholarship Value

Inclusions:  

  • Cost of Congress registration 
  • Up to AU$1,800 towards return flights to Auckland; ground transfers in Auckland (airport-hotel-airport); and three nights of hotel accommodation during the Congress (or four nights if you are planning to attend the Global Eye Health Workshop on Friday 6 November – this can be selected as part of your Congress registration process)
