These scholarships aim to increase access to ophthalmic education and networks of aspiring ophthalmologists through participating in the RANZCO 57th Annual Scientific Congress, taking place in Auckland from 6-9 November 2026.
Eligibility
These opportunities are open to AIDA member Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students and junior doctors interested in ophthalmology as a career.
Scholarship Value
Inclusions:
- Cost of Congress registration
- Up to AU$1,800 towards return flights to Auckland; ground transfers in Auckland (airport-hotel-airport); and three nights of hotel accommodation during the Congress (or four nights if you are planning to attend the Global Eye Health Workshop on Friday 6 November – this can be selected as part of your Congress registration process)
