ANZEF scholarships to attend NATSIEHC24

The 2024 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Eye Health Conference (NATSIEHC24) will take place on nipaluna country (Hobart, Tasmania) from Wednesday 22 to Friday 24 May 2024. Read more about the Conference and its theme for 2024.

This scholarship aims to facilitate participation in the Conference by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors and medical students who have an interest in eye health and ophthalmology.

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must fulfill the above criteria.

The Australian and New Zealand Eye Foundation (ANZEF) is the philanthropic arm of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO). ANZEF is offering scholarships up to AU$1,600 to cover or contribute towards the cost of registration, travel to and from NATSIEHC24 in nipaluna / Hobart, and hotel accommodation for the duration of the Conference.

Please note that for Hobart-based successful applicants, the scholarship will cover the cost of conference registration only.

To apply, fill out an application available on the Scholarships page of the ANZEF website. Applications close on Monday 18 March 2024 at 11:59pm AEDT.

Scholarship recipients will be selected by a panel of reviewers and their decision will be final.

Applicants will be advised of the selection process outcome by mid April 2024.
